Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB), one of India’s top 5 FMCG Companies, was awarded the ‘Future Ready Factory of the Year’ Platinum Award for its factory at Sanand, under the aegis of the prestigious Frost & Sullivan’s India Manufacturing Excellence Awards (IMEA) 2019. The award was received by Mr. Amer Hussain, Vice President, Supply Chain, West cluster, HCCB along with the factory team management, in Mumbai. Constituted with the aim to map out the manufacturing competitiveness of facilities to world class standards, the award recognises the HCCB factory at Sanand as the country’s best facility in the industry segment.
The award is also a testament to the factory’s relentless efforts to adopt and institutionalise digital manufacturing and global optimisation processes for achieving excellence in supply chain management. This factory was commissioned only two years ago.
Some of the key parameters evaluated for the ward was visual management, scheduling systems, inventory management, operational flexibility, quality systems, orderliness, safety & environment, innovation adaption and focus on customers. The evaluation was based on the Global Manufacturing Excellence model based on a robust on-site assessment by industry experts, benchmarking and feedback.
Reflecting on the significance of the award, Mr. Dinesh Jadhav, Executive Director, Supply Chain, HCCB said, “It has always been our endeavour at Sanand factory to set industry standards in everything we do from sustainability initiatives to manufacturing prowess. The award will further motivate us to replicate the success across other locations."
Frost & Sullivan’s India Manufacturing Excellence Awards (IMEA) aim at recognising the Indian manufacturing capability and assess its global competitiveness.

Our logo has three components:
1) HCCB wordmark
The colourful wordmark captures the vibrant spirit and diversity of India. Between the four colours in the wordmark, they combine the primary or secondary colours of the top 8 selling brands of HCCB. The two Cs in the logo come together to form the infinity symbol; a symbol of the infinite opportunities that India as a country has to offer and HCCB as a company has to leverage. The imperfect letters in the logo is simply an assertion of our core value of not striving for perfection but progress.
2) The company name
The company name is written in the Noto Sans font, which is designed to be harmonious across multiple languages.
3) The brand proposition
The company’s brand proposition ‘Inspired by India’ summarises our purpose and our soul. We are Indian and India brings the best out of us.
Do’s and Don’ts of Using HCCB Logo
- Always use the Logo in its original form
- The Reverse Logo can be used when the logo colours are the same as the background colour
- Do not stretch, condense, or distort the logo in any manner
- Do not change the colours of Logo
